    North Penn Community Health Foundation Breaks Ground on New Building

    LANSDALE, PA – The North Penn Community Health Foundation celebrated the ground breaking for the construction of a new 24,000 square foot nonprofit center to be located at 2506 N. Broad Street, Colmar. The event was attended by Board Members and staff, local township and other elected officials, nonprofit agencies and project partners.

    The nonprofit center is the first such facility in Pennsylvania. When completed, it will provide affordable professional office space for health and human services agencies and offer meeting space designed to facilitate collaboration, partnering, critical thinking, learning and the articulation of lasting solutions to unmet needs and problems confronting individuals living and working on our community. The building is begin constructed utilizing the latest in green building technologies and is being financed through an Industrial Development Corporation bond and a loan from the North Penn Community Health Foundation.

    The Foundation’s vision is to create a professional workplace that supports the essential role of local nonprofit organizations; enhances local access to programs and services; provides and maintains a working environment where employees feel comfortable and safe; provides a respectful environment where the public receives services without stigmatization; and fosters collaboration and partnering among local non profit organizations.
