Opens First Non-Profit Center in Pennsylvania
COLMAR, PA – The North Penn Community Health Foundation celebrated the opening of Community Partners Center for Health and Human Services, a new 24,000 square foot nonprofit center located at 2506 N. Broad Street, Colmar. The event was attended by board members and staff, a representative of the Governor’s Green Government Council, local township and other elected officials, nonprofit agencies and project partners.

Board Chairman Phil Hunt, unveiled the name of the main meeting room as the Terrence L. Walton meeting room to honor Terry Walton, the Foundation’s founding Chairman.
As the first non-profit center in Pennsylvania, the Foundation’s new home, a $7 Million facility provides professional office for the foundation and other nonprofit agencies that provide health and human services to local residents. The building meets the platinum rating standard for “green buildings” defined by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. Through the use of green technologies, the Foundation has created an efficient new space where tenants and other community nonprofits are encouraged to collaborate, explore and develop synergies among themselves and others that support their success in providing the highest caliber of programs and services in the most cost-effective manner possible.
The Foundation’s vision is to create a professional workplace that supports the essential role of local nonprofit organizations; enhances local access to programs and services; provides and maintains a working environment where employees feel comfortable and safe; provides a respectful environment where the public receives services without stigmatization; and fosters collaboration and partnering among local non profit organizations.
