Health Education Mini-Grant Program Now Available
Schools provide opportunities to educate children, youth and families on
a variety of health related topics. Often the most effective learning evolves
from small classroom projects and activities that integrate learning opportunities
with non-traditional instructional methods such as health fairs, field trips,
special guest seminars, discussion forums or the unique programs that faculty
members or school/parent associations construct for their students.
The North Penn Community Health Foundation Board of Directors created the
Health Education Mini-Grant Program to assist teachers, nurses, administrators
and parent/teacher associations in developing educational programs that promote
the dissemination of health and wellness information and to support educational
programs that promote the pursuit of healthy life-styles and the knowledge
to sustain the overall health of the community.
